WILLIAM TEMPLIN WILL

In the name of God Amen, I William Templin of East Nantmell in the county of Chester and state of Penn. Considering the uncertainty of this life and being of sound mind and perfect memory blessed be God for the same. Do Make and publish this My Last Will and Testament. In the following Manner & form following this is the first of all I give and recommend My Soul to God that by it and my body to be buried in a decent manner at the discretion of my exectors, and as _____ these would by God wherewith it has blessed God to bless me with in this life. I give, dispose and bequeath the same in the following manner & form that is after my funeral charges and other just debts are paid. I give and bequeath to my son THOMAS TEMPLIN the sum of Nine hundred and seventy pounds to be paid in one year after my death and ponder that the said Thomas do pay unto his daughter Elisabeth Robison the sum of one hundred pounds out of the above sum in one year after my death. _____ pay unto __________ Templin _______ to pay unto his daughter Hannah the sum of fifty pounds to be paid in one year after my death. I give & bequeath to my son, RICHARD TEMPLIN, the sum of six hundred & eighty pounds over & above three hundred twenty pounds that I have heretofore given him, to be paid in one year after my death. Item: I give and bequeath to my son, SAMUEL TEMPLIN, the plantation where on he lives & ponder that he the said Samuel do pay to his sister HANNAH ROSS the sum of seven hundred & ten pounds in one year after my death. Item: I give and bequeath to my son, WILLIAM TEMPLIN the sum of two hundred & fifty pounds over and above the sum of seven hundred & fifty pounds that heretofore given him to be paid in one year after my death. Item: I give & bequeath to my son, ISAAC TEMPLIN the plantation whereon the tan yard is erected value six hundred pounds likewise the sum of four hundred & ________ to be deducted out of his bond I have against him. Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter, REBECCA ROBERTS and the heirs of her body the sum of one thousand pounds to be paid in the following manner by my son JOHN TEMPLIN, the sum of fifty pounds in one year after my death & the further sum of fifty pounds yearly and every year until the above sum is fully paid. Item: I give and bequeath to my son JOHN TEMPLIN, my plantation where on I now live & all my farming items and ponder the said John to pay unto his sister Hannah Ross in one year after my death the sum of two hundred and ninety pounds. I give & bequeath to my grand daughter Hannah Defrain the sum of twenty-five pounds to be paid by my son John in three years after my death. My reason for giving her no more is that I have given her father seventeen hundred pounds heretofore. Lastly as to all that remainder of my personal estate good and chattles of what kind _____ Ponder the same to be divided amongst my several children above named share and share alike, and I do hereby appoint my two sons Samuel & John Templin to be my said executors of this my last will & testament. I hereby ______ revoking all former wills by me made in witness _______ I have hereunto set my hand and seal the first day of ____ in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and ten (1810).

N. B. I give and bequeath to my son John Templin, my desk & likewise my clock & cape & likewise black horse and likewise my cupboard that stands in the front room and likewise my stove that stand in the back room and the Franklin stoves that stand in the front room upstairs and the bed and bedding and bedstead that stands in the room upstairs and my two fowling guns that I give & bequeath to my grand daughter Rececca Templin the sum of fifty pounds over & above the sum of one hundred pound before mentioned to her and three pair of blankets & two coverlet & two pieces of plan linen & two pieces of table linen. Item: I give & bequeath to my grand daughter Elisabeth Robinson the sum of fifty pound over & above the sum of one hundred pound before mentioned to her each sum to be paid out of my personal estate in one year after my decease. My land on Normanís hill I order to be sold in one year after my deceased by my executors, whom ______ to make a title to the purchaser, all the above _____ to be paid out of my personal estate except the one thousand pound to be paid to my son John to Rebecca Roberts out of his share and the sum of seven hundred and ten pounds by my son Samuel to his sister Hannah Ross which he is to pay out of ____________
