John Templin to Sarah Ellen McGinnis
Know all men by these
presents that I John Templin of the County of Ross, State of Ohio,
inconsideration of the sum of Five hundred dollars to me paid by Sarah Ellen
McGinnis of the County of Ross, State of Ohio have bargained and sold, and do
hereby grant and convey unto the said Sarah Ellen McGinnis her heirs and assigns
forever, the following premises situate in the County of Ross, in the State of
Ohio, and in the Town of Frankfort, and bounded and described as follows, to
wit; Seventeen feet, 3-1/2 inches of the South side of in lot number six (No.
6) in the Town of Frankfort, fronting on Westfall Street and running back full
width to an alley. Also twenty eight of the North side of in lot number Seven
(No. 7) fronting on Westfall Street, running back to an alley the boundaries of
which will more fully appear, reference being had to the recorded plat of said
Town as recorded in the Recorders Office of Ross County, Ohio. To have and to
hold said premises with the appurtenances tracks unto the said Sarah Ellen
McGinnis her heirs and assigns forever, and the said John Templin for himself
and his heirs doth hereby covenant with said Sarah Ellen McGinnis her heirs and
assigns that he is lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid, that said
premises are free and clear from all in cumbrances whatsoever, and that he will
forever warrant and defend the same with the appurtenances, unto the said Sarah
Ellen McGinnis her heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons
whosoever. In testimony whereof the said John Templin hath here unto set his
hand and seal this eight day of April, in the year of our Lord, one thousand
and eight hundred and sixty-nine.
