Many Researchers have said
that the first Templin in America was a John Templin. The Family History Center
in the family index has a John Templin from England, born in 1666. There was
not any reference material to support this. However this could very well be
true. This John Templin could be a Father, Brother or no relation to the
Richard Born 1688 and died 1775 in Chester County, Pa. But in studying the
geographical areas of Va., Penn., Delaware, and Maryland, the locations are not
that far apart.
