Bevins Morris from Richard Templin Deed
This Indenture made the seventh day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty one between Richard Templin of the county of Sussex on Delaware Yeo of the one part Bevins Morris of the same County Yeo of the other part witnesseth that the sd Richard Templin for and in consideration of the sum of thirty pounds to me in hand paid or secured to be paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth give grant bargain and sell unto the assd Bavans Morris his heirs Ex Adm’d and assigns a certain tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the Broad Kill hundred and in the County of Sussex assd on the head of some part of Pembertons Branch and on the west side of a tract of a certain tract of land formerly laid out for Thomas Carlisle and on the south west and south side of Nells Savannah and on the east and south east of water Savannah the several butts and bounds thereof are fully and particularly mentioned is a certain Indenture from Rebecca Boone Adm of John Brice to the assd Richard Templin bearing date of fourth day of May one thousand seven hundred and fifty recourse thereunto going had may manifestly appear containing and paid out for one hundred and six acres called by the name of the second thought granted to the above mentioned John Brice dec’d by Warrant dated the fifteenth day of December Seventeen hundred thirty six To have and to hold one hundred and six acres of land unto sd Bevins Morris his heirs, Ext and Adm together with all houses orchards garden timber woods under Woods Ways Easements and all other the unprovements and appeartenances whatsoever these unto belonging or in any wise appertaining to the only proper use and ____ of him the Bevins Morris his heirs Ex’s Adm and assigns for ever free from all incumbrances whatsoevery by from or under him the sd Richard or way of his heirs the Quit rent excepted and the sd Richard Templin doth covenant and agree to and with the Bevins Morris his heirs and assigns that he the sd Bevins shall lawfully and peaceable possess and enjoy the _____ granted premisses as full free and ample as ever the assd Richard held and enjoyed the same.
