Know all men by these
presents that I John Templin of the State of Ohio, Ross County for and in
consideration of the sum of Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars in hand paid by
Samuel McGinnis hath bargained and sold, and do hereby grant, bargain, sell and
survey unto the said Samuel McGinnis his heirs and assigns forever the
following premises, situate in the County of Ross, in the State of Ohio in the
village of Frankfort and bounded and described as follows by; In for number one
hundred and seven (107), in the incorporated village of Frankfort, the
boundaries of which will more fully appear, reference being had to the recorded
part of said village, in the recorders office of Ross County. To have and to
hold said premises, with the appurtenances unto Me said Samuel McGinnis, his
heirs and assigns forever, the grantor for his heirs and assigns hereby
covenanting with the grantee, his heirs and assigns, that the title so conveyed
is free, clear and unencumbered and that he will warrant and defend the same
again, all lawful claims whatsoever. In testimony whereof, the said John
Templin hereunto set his hand and seal this 19th day of January in
the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Six.

Before me a Justice
of the Peace within and for said county personally appeared the above named
John Templin and acknowledge the signing and sealing of the above deed to be
