            Charles P. Templin, 70, Twin Lakes, formerly of Chicago, died Saturday afternoon (Dec. 1, 1984) at the Burlington Memorial Hospital.


            The son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Monica Nikrant) Templin, he was born Jan. 15, 1914 at Chicago.


            He married Amelia Rusch in January, 1938 at Valparaiso, Ind.


            After serving as a plant superintendent for the Bearau and Lowell Plating Works, Chicago, for 40 years, he came to Twin Lakes in 1969.


            A former precinct captain in the 41st ward in Chicago, he was also a member of the Twin Lakes Sportsmen’s Club and the 41st Social Athletic Club.


            Surviving are a son, Charles, Twin Lakes; a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Pat) Hoff, Sleepy Hollow, Ill.; his mother, Elkhorn; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Helen) Gapin, Mt. Prospect, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.


            Preceding him in death were his wife, in 1976, his father, and two brothers, Joseph and Edward.




            Templin – funeral services for the late Charles P. Templin, a resident of Twin Lakes, who passed away Saturday, will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, December 4th, at the Haase Funeral Chapel, Twin Lakes. Cremation will follow. Friends may call at the Haase Funeral Chapel after 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Memorials to the Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated.
