SIMS - Carrie L. Templin, 40, 107 W. Taylor St., died Friday in an auto accident on Howard County Road 400 North.

She was born in Marion, to the late Bennie L. Binnion and Judith A (Smith) Brashear. She married Noalus "Butch" O. Templin on June 1, 1985. He survives.


Mrs. Templin worked at DaimlerChrysler, Kokomo, and was previously a security guard with Pinkerton Co. at the Delco electronics plant, Kokomo. She was a Longabarger basket consultant, enjoyed square dancing and attended Crossroad Baptist Church, Kokomo.

Also surviving are mother, Judy (David) Brashear, Sims; children, Autumn Anne Binnion, Converse, and Brittany Nicole, Lindsay Leigh and Bradley Scott Templin, all at home; stepchildren, Angela Kay Templin, Christa Dawn Lear and Brian Jason Templin, all of Kokomo; brothers, Curtis L (Carol) Binnion, Columbus, James L. (Vickie) Binnion, Auburndale, Fla., and Elvis L. Binnion, Swayzee; stepbrothers, Earnest (Sharon) Brashear, Fort Wayne, and Timothy Brashear, Florida; grandchildren, Ashlynn Bates, Kaitlynd Lear, Abbey Rose, Nathaniel Lear, Anthony Templin, Alysia Cox, Brian Templin Jr. and Payton Daily; and best friends, Sherri Johnson and Dick and Janet Lamb.


She also was preceded in death by her father; and a sister, Vickie L. Warren.


Services are at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Rybolt Chapel, 341 N. Washington St., Swayzee. Entombment is in Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery, Kokomo.


Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
