Carol Ann Templin Shea of the 1100 block of Lexan Ave. went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 5, 1999, after a courageous battle with polycystic kidney disease.

She retired from Bell Atlantic after 25 years of service. She was a member of the fellowship at Tabernacle Church of Norfolk.

She is survived by her husband, Alan, after 31 years of marriage, and their children: sons Douglas and his wife, Kimberly, and Brian and his wife, Penny, and daughter and best friend, Kimberly; father Melvin Templin; brother Doug Templin; mother-in-law Dorothy Shea; granddaughter Aislinn Shea; and many other loving relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Dorothy Templin, and father-in-law, Richard Shea.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 10, 1999, in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel.
