CARL LEON TEMPLIN

 

Carl Leon Templin, 82, died March 22, 1991 in Salt Lake City.

 

Born June 10, 1908 in Adger, Alabama to James Crampton and Harriett Bryant Templin. He married Flora Madsen on December 30, 1929, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Veteran of WW I. Active union member. Enjoyed gardening. He was a deputy sheriff in Emery County for many years. High Priest in the Southgate LDS Ward. He was a friend to all.

 

Survived by wife, Flora, three sons and one daughter, Carl A. and wife Darlene, Midvale; James C. and wife Doris, Kaysville, Utah; Eva Fields, Salt Lake City; Raymond J., Denver, Colorado, 17 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. Proceeded in death by parents, four brothers and two sisters.

 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 1:00 p.m., March 26, 1991 at the Southgate LDS Ward Chapel, 2702 South Main St., with Bishop Lyle G. Hereth conducting, where friends may call on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. prior to services. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens. Funeral directors Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
