Ann E. Templin, 81,
of Minneapolis, formerly of Gibbon, died Thursday at the Mount SinaiHospital in Minneapolis after being hospitalized for the past
Services were at Monday at the St. Peterís LutheranChurch in MoltkeTownship, SibleyCounty, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by
sisters, Mrs. Daniel (Helen) Clifford of Minneapolis and Mrs. Stuart (Emma) Perry of Minnetonka; sister-in-law, Mrs. Helene Templin of
Gibbon; and ten nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven brothers
and one sister.
She was born on September
1, 1900, in MoltkeTownship, SibleyCounty, to John and Catherine (Elling) Templin. She was raised in the gibbon
area where she attended the parochial school in rural Gibbon. After her
schooling, she resided on the family farm and worked. She moved to the Minneapolis area in the mid-1950ís where she became a
salesperson selling bakery goods before her retirement in 1967. She was an
active member of the TrinityFirstLutheranChurch in Minneapolis.
