ANNA H. TEMPLIN KOCH

Anna H. Koch, 76, of 210 High St., Schuylkill Haven, died Sunday night in Pottsville Hospital, where she had been a patient 10 days.

 

She was the wife of Emmett Koch Sr.

 

Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late James and Leon (LeVan) Templin.

 

She was a 1941 graduate of Pottsville High School.

 

Koch was a Woman’s Army Corps veterans of World War II.

 

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven, where she was a choir member and involved in the music program for 50 years.

 

Koch was a past president of the Schuylkill Haven American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

 

She is also survived by two sons, Emmett Jr., Tower City, Schuylkill County, and Joel, Schuylkill Haven; and a daughter, Sue A. (Koch) Denbow, Virginia Beach, Va.

 

Other survivors include a sister, Jean Templin, Pottsville; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

 

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Lebanon County.
