Anastasia M. Hager, 86, of Mankato died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at Luther Memorial Home in Madelia.


Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Clair with burial in the church cemetery in St. Clair.


Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Mankato Mortuary with a 6:30 p.m. rosary. Visitation continues one hour before services at the church on Saturday.


She was survived by sons and their wives, Tom and Helen Hager of Mankato, and Mike and Patricia Hager of rural Good Thunder; daughters and their husbands, E. Diane and Raymond Schweiss of Hector, Kay and Francis Schweiss of Fairfax, and Rita and Ted Wolfe of rural Mankato; 18 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends; and sister-in-law, Ann Hager.


She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1999, three sisters, and four brothers.


She was born Dec. 7, 1914, in Mapleton to Karl and Mary (Budnick) Templin. She graduated from Mapleton High School. She married Logan J. Hager in Mapleton on July 3, 1934. She farmed with her husband in Decoria Township until retiring in 1962. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Clair, where she was active in church circles.
