Rites Set for Mrs. Templin
Funeral services will
be held at 2:30 p.m.
Saturday from the Seydler Hill Chapel for Mrs. Alma B. Templin who died in the Holmes Community Hospital at 12:10 a.m. today, Friday. (April 16, 1971).
The Rev. Allen
Collins, pastor of the First Lutheran Church of which she was a member, will
conduct the rites with burial to take place in the Woodmen of the world
Cemetery.
Mrs. Templin was born
in Germany on June 1, 1877, the daughter of John and Amalie
Bielefeld, both natives of Germany. She was married to Paul Templin, and, at
the time of her death, was living at 819 St. Matthew Street. Her husband preceded her in death in
February, 1923. She had recently received a 60-year pin from Hermann Sons
Lodge.
Survivors include
three daughters, Mrs. Earl Bouldin and Mrs. Tellmon Wied, both of Gonzales and
Mrs. Adolph D. Petras of Nacogdoches; one son, Gus Eschenburg of San Antonio; three grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in
death by a daughter, Mrs. Will Thiede on December 8, 1970, and a son, Oscar W. Eschenburg who died
on March 21, 1953.
