Alice M. Pentz, of Washingtonville, a radial pharmaceutical tech for CinTichem Inc., died December 17, 2004 at Cornwall Hospital. She was 72. The daughter of William S. and Dorothy M. Haines Templin, she was born September 25, 1932 in Milton, Pa.


She was a past member of the VFW Post 8691 Ladies Auxiliary of Washingtonville also Monell Engine Company Ladies Auxiliary, Blooming Grove Ambulance Corp. She enjoyed reading, shopping, traveling and doing crafts and was an avid bowler. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.


Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Robert L. Pentz of Washingtonville; son, William E. Pentz of Washingtonville; daughter, Bonnie L. and husband Claude VanRiper III of Washingtonville; brother Robert and wife Betty Templin of Milton, Pa.; sister, Lois Seabold of Milton, Pa.; six grandchildren, Claude IV (J.J.), Christopher and Robert Vanriper, Gregory, Christina and Emily Pentz; seven great-grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, Peter, Andrua, Kelsey, Lucas and Allison and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Katherine Savidge and one granddaughter Crystal VanRiper.


Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, December 22 at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., Thursday, December 23 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Cornwall.
