Albert F. Templin, 86, of 11 Garden Court, died of natural causes May 8 at Lebanon Veterans Affairs Hospital.


Templin worked as a ship builder.


He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.


An Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, he fought all over Europe, including in the European Invasion and in the English Channel.


He was an avid bowler and enjoyed oil painting.


Born in Camden, N.J., he was the son of the late Fredrick and Catherine Kopec Templin.

His wife, Ellanora N. Nolan Templin, died in 1994.


He is survived by a stepson, Eugene N. Dunlop of Woodland Hills, Calif.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Leona Ostruska.
