Adolf J. C. F. Templin passed away at his home in Helen town on October 7. He succumbed to nephritis with which he had been afflicted during the past seven years. He attained the age of over 52 years. The funeral services took place last Friday at St. Johnís Lutheran Church in Helen town, Rev. A. Jul. Dysterheft officiating.


The late Adolf Templin was a native of Helen town where he was born June 15, 1866. he was the son of Frederick Templin and Minnie, nee Behrens, who were among the pioneer settlers of that township. The deceased lived in Helen town continuously, and was confirmed at St. Johnís church March 21, 1880. he married Minnie Proehl in 1890, and is survived by his wide, three sons and six daughters. They are Edward, Mrs. Minnie Biermann, Flora, Frances, Alfred, Gerhardt, Elsie, Anna and Lydia. One grandson also survives him.


The late Adolf Templin was an industrious man, and ever enjoyed the highest respect of his neighbors and those who knew him. Sympathy is extended to the sorrowing widow and children in their loss.
