PIERZ -- Adeline Henry, 69, Pierz, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls.

She was born Sept. 3, 1932, in Gilman to the late Frank and Kathryn Templin. She married George Henry on May 24, 1950, in Gilman. Together they farmed east of Royalton for 20 years and then farmed east of Pierz for nine more years. She was a homemaker and raised a large family. She worked several years at St. Mary's Villa. She was active in her church and served as Eucharistic Minister and was a member of Christian Mothers.

Survivors include six daughters, Rita Albert, Plymouth, Jeanne Kiel, St. Cloud, Kathy Virnig, New Ulm, Janice Athman, Pierz, Diane Happke, Pierz, and Julie Athman, Elk River; seven sons, Patrick Henry, Little Falls, Daniel Henry, Royalton, Kenneth Henry, Elko, Kevin Henry, Zimmerman, William Henry, Rice, Joseph Henry, Pierz, and John Henry, Little Falls; two sisters, Kathryn Wiltgen, Foley, and Sister Winifred Templin, Brenham, Texas; 41 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Her husband; five sisters, Ida Haffner, Lorraine Henry, Josie Keppers, Helen Templin and Wanda Keepers; four brothers, Carl, Tony, Frank and Leo Templin; and a grandson died earlier.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz with Father Gerald Dalseth and Father Ken Brenny officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery in Pierz.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday with a Christian Mothers prayer service at 4:30 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 6:30 p.m. at the Brenny Funeral Home in Pierz and from 9 a.m. until services Wednesday at the church.
